Job summary

Western Kids Health in Perth is seeking a Senior Dietitian to lead a paediatric feeding and nutrition caseload across ARFID, feeding clinic, Early Intervention and Helpful Habits program. You will work in joint appointments with psychology, OT, speech pathology and physiotherapy, supervise junior staff and contribute to program development.

The role is 0.6 FTE (22.8 hours per week) across three days, with maximum-term parental leave cover starting February or March 2027.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics with APD credentialing.
• At least four years post-credentialing experience in paediatric dietetics or feeding.
• Advanced knowledge in paediatric feeding, growth and nutrition.
• Ability to provide clinical supervision to junior staff and students.
• WWC check, police clearance, and driver’s licence required.
• Postgraduate paediatric dietetics or related area.
• Advanced practice credentialing (e.g., ARFID).
• Experience with neurodivergent feeding presentations.

Responsibilities

• Hold an advanced paediatric caseload in Feeding and ARFID.
• Supervise less experienced dietitians and students.
• Triage new referrals and support complex cases.
• Contribute to the Feeding Program development and ARFID service.
• Write letters to referrers and build senior relationships with paediatricians.
