Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to lead functional and sensory assessments for young people aged 12 to 25 with complex mental health needs. You will contribute to an autism assessment pathway within a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality reports and targeted recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience in OT theory focusing on function, occupation and sensory needs in youth mental health.
• Strong collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to translate assessments into actionable reports.

Responsabilités

• Perform interdisciplinary neurodevelopmental assessments including Autism and ADHD.
• Conduct functional and sensory assessments with clinical recommendations.
• Produce high-quality reports with recommendations to support function and occupation.
• Provide specialist input in multidisciplinary assessments for young autistic people.
• Build capacity among clinicians regarding function and occupation.
• Deliver brief interventions to enhance access to mental health care.
