Optus Enterprise in Melbourne is seeking a senior leader to own the orchestration, closed-loop operations and autonomous operations strategy within Network Operations. You will drive scalable services, event-driven workflows and cross-domain execution capabilities, guiding engineering efforts from concept to production.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, define governance and guardrails, and measure improvements in MTTR, resilience and cost efficiency, while nurturing engineering

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience across telecommunications and Network Operations.
• Experience leading orchestration, closed-loop automation or autonomous operations.
• Knowledge of orchestration, event-driven architectures and AI-assisted decisioning.
• Understanding of governance, security and production resilience.
• Ability to translate strategy into measurable operational outcomes.
• Experience leading cross-domain teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial and vendor management capabilities.
• Degree in engineering/telecommunications/computer science or equivalent industry experience.

Responsabilités

• Own and drive orchestration, closed-loop operations strategy, roadmap and capability maturity across Network Operations.
• Lead engineering and industrialisation of scalable orchestration services, event-driven workflows and cross-domain capabilities.
• Develop closed-loop operational workflows integrating detection, decisioning, execution and learning.
• Establish governance, control mechanisms and execution guardrails for safe autonomous operations.
• Measure and optimise orchestration performance, MTTR reduction and service resilience.
• Lead cross-functional stakeholders and foster engineering excellence and innovation toward autonomous operations.
