Job summary

Accenture is seeking a seasoned Oracle Utilities batch specialist to join its Oracle practice. You will design, develop, and optimize OUAF/CC&B batch processes, build automation scripts, and collaborate with global leads to deliver reliable batch solutions for billing, metering, and data conversion.

You'll lead SIT/UAT, troubleshoot batch failures, and help define runbooks and dependency maps while supporting performance tuning to meet SLAs across multi-environment deployments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with OUAF and Oracle C2M / CC&B batch processing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience writing and maintaining shell scripts (Bash or equivalent) for batch scheduling, monitoring, and recovery.
• Minimum 3 years of experience designing batch architectures and job dependency frameworks on Oracle Utilities implementations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize OU batch processes for billing, metering, data conversion, and integration.
• Build and maintain shell scripts and automation routines to schedule, monitor, and recover batch jobs across environments.
• Collaborate with functional leads, architects, and offshore teams to translate business requirements into robust batch solutions.
• Define and maintain batch architecture documentation, job dependency maps, and operations runbooks.
• Lead batch-related SIT and UAT execution, including defect triage and root cause analysis for batch failures.
• Support performance tuning of batch threads, algorithms, and database queries to meet SLAs.
• Participate in cutover planning and execution, managing batch sequencing and validation during deployment windows.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production and non-production batch environments, providing timely resolution and root cause documentation.
