Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior or Principal Mining Engineer to join our APAC team in Melbourne. This role offers flexible and hybrid working options, delivering technical consulting to mining clients and leading multi-study projects across EPCM scopes.

The ideal candidate has extensive hard rock mining experience, familiarity with block/sub-level caving, and proficiency in Deswik or equivalent mining software. Travel may be required; degree in Mining Engineering is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive operational hard rock experience in underground and/or surface mine design and scheduling.
• Experience in Block Caving and/or Sub-Level Caving highly regarded.
• Strong proficiency using the Deswik suite of software, or other industry-standard mining software.
• Experience with NI 43-101 and/or JORC compliant studies highly regarded, including sign-off as Competent/Qualified Person.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Degree in Mining Engineering.

What you’ll do

• Provide technical and consulting services to mining clients
• Act as Mining Lead, Project Manager or Project Engineer across EPCM and project delivery scopes
