Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Workplace Infrastructure Engineer to join its global Workplace Services team, delivering complex endpoint and virtual desktop solutions across APAC. You will blend hands-on engineering with strategic improvements to services used by a diverse, international workforce.

You’ll deepen expertise with Microsoft Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop and Autopilot, manage SCCM and Group Policy, and lead automation via PowerShell while ensuring secure, reliable workplace technology.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing Intune, AVD, Autopilot and SCCM.
• Proficiency with Entra ID and Group Policy.
• Experience with PowerShell automation and enterprise deployments.
• Experience supporting Windows, Linux and macOS devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide third-level support and own incidents through to resolution.
• Deliver secure, reliable endpoint and VDI services across APAC.
• Collaborate with APAC teams on deployments, automation and roadmaps.

As Senior Workplace Infrastructure Engineer, you will join Arup’s global Workplace Services team, providing essential APAC coverage for our endpoint and virtual desktop platforms.

The Opportunity

• Join Arup’s global Workplace Services team as a senior Workplace Infrastructure Engineer for complex endpoint and virtual desktop challenges. You’ll combine hands‑on engineering with the freedom to improve services used across a diverse, international workplace.
• You’ll broaden your expertise across Microsoft, Apple, Azure and AWS technologies, contribute to global projects and help shape the Workplace Services roadmap.
• You’ll provide third‑level support, own complex incidents through to resolution and deliver secure, reliable workplace technology across APAC.
• Your work will span Intune, Autopilot, Jamf, Azure Virtual Desktop and legacy SCCM and Group Policy, alongside automation, documentation, patching and technology rollouts.

Is this role right for you?

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows Autopilot, SCCM, Group Policy and Entra ID.
• Proven support of Windows 11, Linux Ubuntu and macOS devices, including Jamf Pro administration.
• Experience administering and troubleshooting Azure Virtual Desktop/Nerdio and complex endpoint, application and user‑profile issues.
• PowerShell automation skills, with practical experience of enterprise application deployment, patching and vulnerability remediation.
• A methodical, accountable and collaborative approach, with clear technical documentation and communication skills.
