Job summary

SKL Technology is seeking an experienced OpenShift and Kubernetes administrator in Victoria, Australia. You will design, deploy and maintain large-scale clusters, ensure high availability, and lead automation initiatives using Ansible, GitOps and IaC.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of systems administration experience, including OpenShift and/or Kubernetes clusters.

Responsibilities

• OpenShift administration and operations across enterprise clusters.
• Design, deploy, configure and maintain OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters with high availability and resilience.
• Monitor health, performance, capacity and proactively address issues.
• Manage resources, workloads, policies and supporting services per agency standards.
• Troubleshoot OpenShift, Kubernetes and related infrastructure, including networking, storage and certificates.
• Plan and deliver platform changes following change, incident and configuration practices.
• Develop and maintain automation for platform administration using Ansible, GitOps and IaC.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and container deployment for applications.
• Identify opportunities to reduce repetitive tasks and improve reliability.
• Lead platform initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver integrated solutions.
