Red Hat Asia-Pacific PTY. LTD. is seeking a senior OpenShift consultant to lead Australian Government engagements from discovery through to production handover.

You will architect, implement, and mentor customer engineers while coordinating with sales to shape engagements in regulated environments. Based in Canberra with regular onsite delivery, you will work across Defence, national security, and Commonwealth agencies, delivering secure, auditable, scalable OpenShift solutions in air-gapped or

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical consulting, professional services, or platform architecture.
• 3+ years running Kubernetes or OpenShift in production.
• Deep hands-on expertise with OpenShift Container Platform installation, configuration, and day-2 operations.
• Solid grounding in networking, storage, Linux, and security for enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead Red Hat Consulting engagements end to end, owning discovery through handover.
• Act as SME and trusted advisor for OpenShift in customer sites.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Coordinate consultant teams on larger engagements as team lead.
• Produce clear architectural designs and runbooks for executives and engineers.
