Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an experienced OHS Leader to drive safety across major construction, installation and commissioning projects. You will develop project-specific OHS Management Plans and lead practical safety guidance for project teams and subcontractors.

Strong incident investigation, risk management and auditing capabilities are essential, along with a collaborative approach to align with Vertiv's EHS strategy and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Formal OHS qualification and construction safety training required.
• Experience with incident investigation and regulatory audits preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement safety management plans across projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage OHS requirements across major construction, installation and commissioning projects.
• Develop, implement and maintain project-specific OHS Management Plans and safety documentation.
• Provide practical OHS leadership to Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, risk reviews and compliance assessments.
• Review SWMS, risk assessments, permits and subcontractor safety documentation.
• Lead investigations of incidents, injuries and near-misses with root cause analysis.
• Monitor safety performance and provide OHS reporting to senior management.
• Drive toolbox talks and safety initiatives; manage subcontractor OHS performance.
• Liaise with clients and main contractors on OHS matters; promote safety culture.
• Collaborate with the broader EHS team to align safety messaging and strategy.
