Job summary

Vertiv Co is seeking a Site Manager to oversee day-to-day delivery, installation, commissioning and testing on critical infrastructure projects at client sites in Australia. The role requires hands-on leadership on-site, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and high-quality outcomes, while coordinating with the internal project delivery team, the General Contractor and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in site supervision on construction, mining, telecoms or critical infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to supervise teams of workers.
• Subcontractor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily pre-start and toolbox talks with Vertiv customer engineers and subcontractors.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise equipment delivery to site, interfacing with GC and other site trades.
• Coordinate & supervise installation, commissioning and testing activities.
• Complete project site reporting and documentation requirements (tracking sheets, delivery checklists, progress reports).
• Oversee defect rectification and close out.
• Drive team to achieve daily targets and maintain morale.
