PwC Australia is seeking an experienced penetration tester to join our Advisory practice in Cybersecurity & Privacy. You will work with a national team to assess client security postures, identify vulnerabilities, and apply new AI-enabled offensive security approaches as the threat landscape evolves.

Qualifications

• Hands-on penetration testing experience to identify vulnerabilities in applications, systems, and networks.
• Experience with red/purple teaming to test cybersecurity controls across detection, prevention and response domains.
• Ability to deliver management-level and detailed technical reports and present findings to technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in applications, systems and networks.
• Perform red teaming and/or purple teaming to test cybersecurity controls across detection, prevention and response domains.
• Provide pragmatic recommendations to address identified risks.
• Lead day-to-day delivery of penetration testing engagements, including client and internal communications and quality oversight.
• Deliver management-level and detailed technical reports on findings and present to stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor junior penetration testers within and outside client engagements.
• Develop internal tools and procedures to enhance the team’s knowledge base.
