Job summary

Westpac in Sydney is seeking a Senior Penetration Tester to advise business and IT units on information security, with a focus on penetration testing and vulnerability management.

You will perform advanced testing across web, network, mobile and cloud environments, document findings, drive remediation, and support governance, risk and security controls. You’ll lead a high‑performing team and promote security awareness across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in advanced web, network, application, mobile and infrastructure testing.
• Security requirements gathering and reporting of vulnerabilities.
• Mandatory Penetration Testing certification or education.

Responsibilities

• Perform penetration testing across multiple layers and environments.
• Drive remediation through detailed reporting and guidance.
• Advise on security policies, frameworks and controls.
• Deploy security solutions and support governance and risk strategies.
• Maintain security documentation and promote awareness.
