Ability Action Australia is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to support participants across the Central Coast region. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, delivering client-centred therapy and mentoring graduates while tailoring caseloads to your experience and goals.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy membership with AHPRA.
• Experience as an Occupational Therapist or Senior Occupational Therapist beyond graduation.
• Passionate about community‑based support for people with disability.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
• Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Desire to mentor graduates and early career clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services.
• Assess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function.
• Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance quality of life.
• Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support outcomes.
• Caseload tailored to experience and goals.
• Support the growth and development of graduates and early career clinicians.
