Job summary

Ability Action Australia & MedHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support participants across the Nowra region, with flexibility to base positions where you are located. You will deliver therapeutic services, conduct assessments, and develop goals tailored to each participant.

The role offers opportunities for CPD, weekly clinical supervision, and a balanced mix of home, community visits, and access to office/clinic spaces.

Qualifications

• Currently registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
• Passionate about community-based support for people with disability.
• Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Strong time management and organisational skills to manage varied caseloads.

Responsibilities

• Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services.
• Assess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function.
• Interpret findings to formulate individualized treatment goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve quality of life and meet goals.
• Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
