Job summary

SAL Consulting is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Western Australian team, based in Perth. This role blends direct clinical work with leadership, mentoring and system-level growth across diverse settings including community, clinic and school-based practice.

You will support practitioners, contribute to practice development, and help strengthen our national occupational therapy discipline through collaboration, research-informed practice and innovative service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience coaching, mentoring or supporting developing practitioners.
• Proven ability to work across diverse practice areas and systems.

SAL Consulting is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our senior practitioner team in Western Australia, based in Perth.

This is more than a clinical role. Alongside a diverse and rewarding caseload, you'll contribute to the growth of our Occupational Therapy discipline, mentor emerging clinicians, and help strengthen our national practice.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll combine direct clinical work with assessment, intervention, consultation, multidisciplinary collaboration, mentoring and discipline development activities.

Your Work Will Include

• Delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy services across community, clinic, school and telehealth settings

Essential Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working within at least one relevant funding environment (e.g. NDIS, education, child protection, health, justice or related sectors)
• Experience coaching, mentoring or supporting developing practitioners

• Experience in working with people with intellectual disability, trauma histories and complex support needs
• Experience in areas such as functional capacity assessments, sensory profiling, cognitive assessments, home and living assessments, equipment prescription and home modifications
• Experience working collaboratively with families, support networks and multidisciplinary teams to achieve outcomes in everyday environments
• Experience in practice development activities
