The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network seeks a strategic Nursing and Midwifery Advisor to lead policy development, frameworks and workforce development across multiple sites in the region. This senior role collaborates with executive leadership to advance patient care and professional excellence.

You will drive system-wide change, oversee major projects, and foster innovation while supporting a resilient, skilled workforce across Barossa Hills Fleurieu.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-registration nursing/midwifery experience.
• Proven leadership in senior roles.
• Ability to lead complex projects and strategic change.
• Advanced communication, negotiation and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of nursing/midwifery strategies, policies and frameworks.
• Provide expert professional advice on contemporary nursing/midwifery issues and lead change initiatives.
• Deliver strategic project management for statewide programs with evaluation and risk management.
• Champion a culture of innovation, learning and patient-centred care across teams.
