Job summary
Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network is seeking a Nursing and Midwifery Advisor in a senior leadership role, responsible for shaping practice across the network. You will collaborate with executive teams to drive strategic initiatives, policies and frameworks that enhance patient care and professional excellence.
You will lead significant projects, influence system-wide change, and support a skilled, future-ready nursing and midwifery workforce.
Qualifications
- 5+ years post-registration experience with senior nursing or midwifery leadership.
- Ability to lead complex projects and strategic change across health systems.
- Advanced communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution with diverse stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of clinical governance, workforce development and healthcare policy.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and implementation of nursing/midwifery strategies, policies and frameworks.
- Provide expert professional advice on contemporary nursing/midwifery issues and lead change initiatives.
- Deliver strategic project management for complex or statewide programs with evaluation and risk mitigation.
- Champion a culture of innovation, learning and patient-centred care across multidisciplinary teams.
