Job summary

KBR Infrastructure Solutions Australia, in partnership with Frazer-Nash Consultancy, is seeking experienced Nuclear Safety Case Engineers to join Australia's largest NSQEP team. This is nation-building engineering at the highest level.

You will work directly with government and defence stakeholders to deliver safety-informed design processes for naval nuclear facilities and infrastructure, applying deterministic safety analysis and contributing to licensing activities while guiding the next

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification required.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain Australian Defence security clearance.
• Experience in regulated, high-hazard industries is essential.
• Desirable: direct involvement with nuclear submarine programmes or defence projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to nuclear safety cases for naval infrastructure.
• Apply deterministic safety analysis to derive safety requirements for design.
• Engage with licensing and regulatory frameworks governing naval operations.
• Produce and review technical design substantiation documentation to regulatory standards.
• Mentor and develop the next generation of Australian NSQEP.
