Job summary

Coras is seeking Managers and Senior Managers to join its Nuclear capability practice, based in Canberra, Adelaide or Sydney. You will lead complex engineering and project activities across Defence programs, guiding multidisciplinary teams and delivering outcomes in high-assurance environments.

You will work with Defence and industry stakeholders to apply engineering, project management and assurance principles, ensuring safety, governance and disciplined execution in complex capability projects.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering projects within defence or high-assurance environments.
• Ability to engage with senior technical, operational and executive stakeholders.
• Demonstrated capability to deliver outcomes under safety and regulatory constraints.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication translating complex technical information into practical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex engineering and project activities across Defence programs.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, supporting technical delivery and ensuring project outcomes.
• Provide oversight, direction and decision-making in highly regulated environments.
• Build trusted relationships with Defence, industry and technical stakeholders.
• Apply engineering, project management and assurance principles to solve capability challenges.
