Job summary

Airservices Australia is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and continuously improve secure enterprise networks that underpin Australia’s aviation infrastructure.

You will lead security technology deployments across NGFW, WAF, VPNs and related tools, participate in critical incident response, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure, high‑availability services in a modern IP-based network environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in enterprise network security environments.
• Experience with 24/7 operation environments.
• Knowledge of ISM/PSPF.
• Experience with major transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain and improve secure enterprise network infrastructure.
• Lead investigations and projects with engineering and vendors.
• Support on-call resolution of critical network faults and incidents.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security and reliability outcomes.
