Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience leading gateway and network security projects in a large organisation, preferably government.
• Strong systems analysis capability, evaluating technology services, dependencies and operational impacts.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across business, technical and operational stakeholders.
• Experience managing schedules, scope, resources, risks, issues, dependencies and governance reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to produce project documentation and explain complex matters clearly.
• Experience delivering within secure ICT environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex gateway and network security infrastructure projects from initiation to closure.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, setting priorities and maintaining delivery momentum.
• Develop and maintain delivery plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource forecasts and status reporting.
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, assumptions, decisions and change controls.
• Engage business, technical and executive stakeholders to build shared understanding and timely decisions.
• Analyse current-state systems, interfaces and processes to define fit-for-purpose implementation and transition approaches.
• Lead production transition and operational readiness activities, including handover and knowledge transfer.
• Support major problem and incident management by coordinating investigation and recovery actions.
