Job summary

IT Alliance is seeking a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to support a Federal Government client in Canberra. The role focuses on hands-on network troubleshooting, installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of network hardware and software.

You will contribute to project work and optimize gateway and network systems in a high-security environment. Requirements include experience with routine maintenance, incident resolution within timeframes, and collaboration with application

Qualifications

• Experience with network infrastructure and related hardware/software.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
• Experience performing routine maintenance including patches and upgrades.
• Experience implementing and supporting network projects for large environments.
• Experience with configuring and deploying virtual services or servers when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide network support including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot networking issues and resolve them within agreed SLAs.
• Perform routine maintenance: updates, patches and upgrades.
• Support major and minor projects to back departmental initiatives.
• Undertake enhancement and remediation activities across network and gateway systems.

One of our Federal Government clients is looking for Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer in Canberra.

We are looking for the following Skills/Experience:

• Providing network support, including installing, configuring and troubleshooting network hard-ware and software.
• Troubleshooting networking issues and resolve it within a timeframe.
• Performing routine maintenance including updates, patches, and system upgrades.
• Implementing and managing major/minor project work to support Departmental initiatives.
• Undertaking enhancement and remediation activities across network and gateway systems.
• Configuring and deploying virtual services and servers in accordance with the applications opera-tional model governed by application owners.
