Job summary

Lion is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract to lead two major network refresh projects across Australia and New Zealand. You will plan and deliver Cisco-based switch and wireless refreshes, configure equipment, and drive a ~600 AP replacement journey.

The role requires deep hands-on experience (≈10 years), strong Cisco capabilities, and preference for CCNA/CCNP. Expect travel and after-hours work to align with manufacturing schedules.

Qualifications

• Around 10 years hands-on network engineering experience, incl. large-scale refresh projects.
• Strong Cisco switching and wireless capabilities; CCNA or CCNP preferred.
• Experience with SD-WAN and Cisco DNA Center is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver switch and wireless refreshes across sites.
• Configure Cisco switches, wireless and related network technology.
• Lead delivery of a full network switch refresh and 600 AP replacements.
• Coordinate cutovers, outages and change activities.
• Travel to Lion sites across Australia and New Zealand to support installations.
• Identify opportunities to improve the broader network environment.
• Guide onsite teams remotely when required.
• Delivery window Feb–Jun 2027 with some travel and extended hours as needed.
