Job summary

Mesh is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead design and deployment of secure network solutions across SD-WAN, SSE, cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP), data centre networking, and more. You will manage on‑premises and cloud networks, analyze events, and collaborate with the cyber security team on threat detection and incident response.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a network engineering role.
• 2+ years’ experience leading network design and architecture projects.
• Knowledge of government and industry frameworks (PSPF, ISM, Essential Eight, DISP, PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO 27001/31000).
• Clear, concise communication skills and confidence presenting to customers and peers.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, manage and maintain network and network security systems.
• Automate deployments, upgrades and maintenance using scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Integrate network solutions with XDR, SIEM and SOAR platforms.
• Lead break-fix and triage of network issues, using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Develop mid-level and junior network engineers and administrators.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Modern Solutions capability.
• Explain technical concepts clearly in writing and in person, to customers and peers alike.
