Job summary

Attribute Group is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead a greenfield project, transitioning a multinational network from a site-led model to a globally governed standards-based framework. This hands-on role covers building, configuring and deploying firewalls, routing/switching, wireless, and SASE, with project delivery across new site builds and Azure landing zones.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Palo Alto Firewall config and management.
• Solid routing and switching fundamentals (OSPF, BGP, VRFs).
• Aruba wireless, HPE Aruba and Cisco switching experience.
• Ability to operate in a low-documentation environment with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure and deploy network solutions – firewalls, routing/switching, wireless, and SASE.
• Lead greenfield site builds, acquisition integration, and new Azure landing zones.
• Provide network direction to remote-site technicians with limited networking expertise.
• Establish network standards, diagrams and change-management processes.
• Navigate undocumented environments with differing site practices.

On behalf of our large multinational client, we offer a great opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer to take the lead on a project to overhauling its network from a site-led setup to a standards-based, globally governed model.

This is a doer's role: greenfield project delivery (new site build, acquisition integration, and new Azure landing zone), hands-on build work, L3 escalation.

The role:

• Build, configure and deploy network solutions – firewalls, routing/switching, wireless, and (over time) SASE
• Deliver project work including a greenfield site build, integration of a newly acquired organisation, and new landing zone.
• Provide network specialist direction to remote-site technicians who don't carry deep networking expertise – including underground and OT-related switching.
• Help establish network standards, documentation (network/design diagrams) and change management rigour
• Be comfortable finding your own way around an undocumented, non-standardised environment where practices differ site to site
