Job summary

Data#3 is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement and troubleshoot Enterprise and Data Centre networking solutions. You will work on WAN, LAN, SDN and security projects, documenting designs and engaging with clients at all levels.

You will contribute to presales activities, respond to technical proposals, and collaborate with teams to ensure successful outcomes for enterprise clients in Australia.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT degree (desirable).
• Cisco, Aruba and/or Palo Alto certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
• Current Australian Department of Defence Security Clearance, or eligibility to obtain one

An exciting opportunity has opened up within our growing Professional Services practice for a passionate and motivated Senior Network Engineer.

In this role, you will be responsible for analysing requirements, producing solution designs, implementing and troubleshooting Enterprise and Data Centre solutions.

What will I be doing?

• Deliver Enterprise and Data Centre solutions across Enterprise Networking (WAN, LAN and Data Centre), Software Defined Data Centre (Nexus, ACI, EVPN VXLAN), Software Defined Networking, Advanced Wireless Networking, Next Generation Security, Cloud Networking, and Identity & Access Control (802.1X, ClearPass, ISE).
• Document proposed and implemented solutions.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
• Contribute to presales activities, solution design, and technical proposals.
• Work independently and collaboratively to deliver successful client outcomes.

What experience will I need?

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Aruba routing, switching and wireless, enterprise network security technologies (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet or similar), and identity-based networking including 802.1X, NAC, ClearPass and ISE.
• Proven experience delivering network refreshes and migrations, large-scale wireless deployments, and secure access and segmentation solutions.
• Experience facilitating client workshops and engaging stakeholders.
• Strong network design knowledge, documentation skills, and communication skills.

Highly regarded:

• Cisco Webex and Microsoft Teams.
• Network automation or scripting (Python, TCL, Perl).
• Experience with Palo Alto, Citrix, F5, Dell or Fortinet technologies.
• VMware, Hyper-V or KVM.

Qualifications:
