Job summary

CQUniversity is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead and advance the enterprise network across on-premises, data centre and cloud environments. You will design, implement, and support critical network services with a focus on security, performance and resilience.

The role offers relocation support to Rockhampton and opportunities to mentor peers while shaping network strategy and direction within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Five or more years’ experience designing, implementing and supporting complex enterprise network environments, including expertise with routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP, switching technologies and an in-depth understanding of security in the network.

Responsibilities

• At CQUniversity, you will apply your senior technical expertise across an enterprise network environment supporting staff and students across multiple locations. You will work hands-on with complex technologies, contribute to innovative projects and help ensure our network services remain secure, resilient and high-performing.
• As Senior Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in the management, operation and advancement of CQUniversity’s enterprise network and communication services across on-premises, data centre and private and public cloud environments.
• You will provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on, ensuring the availability, performance, integrity and security of critical network services.
