Job summary

Natural Selection Group in Melbourne seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own the Sitefinity backend for a major enterprise client. This is a Melbourne-based remote role within the Australian time zone, collaborating with a US delivery team.

You will develop and support Sitefinity applications using .NET/C#, Azure, and related technologies, delivering production-grade enhancements and resolving complex issues in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Sitefinity experience required.
• Backend development with .NET/C# experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise web apps in production.
• Hands-on Azure, especially App Services.
• Able to troubleshoot unfamiliar systems and resolve complex issues.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar workflow.
• Strong communication with enterprise clients.
• Autonomous work style with distributed team.
• Experience with Kentico, Contentstack or Contentful a plus.
• Exposure to Marketo or Dynamics beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support Sitefinity applications using .NET and C#.
• Deliver backend enhancements across established enterprise websites.
• Build and modify widgets, page templates, integrations and components.
• Investigate and resolve production defects and issues.
• Manage Azure DevOps tickets from investigation to resolution.
• Support applications hosted in Microsoft Azure (Azure App Services).
• Collaborate with US-based project managers, developers and digital specialists.
• Partner with Melbourne-based stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Participate in client stand-ups and coordinate across time zones.
• Provide senior technical ownership as Melbourne capability grows.
