Job summary

Reapit is seeking a senior backend engineer to translate legacy PHP logic into a precise .NET implementation, including undocumented edge cases. You will design and ship RESTful services using ASP.NET Core and collaborate with Product to manage migration scope.

You will mentor juniors, participate in code reviews, and uphold high quality standards while aligning with the moving migration roadmap. Flexible location includes Sydney, Brisbane, or remote.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend development experience with .NET/C# and related frameworks.
• Experience translating legacy PHP logic into modern .NET services with attention to undocumented edge cases.
• Understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Translate PHP business logic into .NET accurately, including undocumented edge cases.
• Design and ship backend services and RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core.
• Contribute to code reviews and maintain high quality across the team.
• Collaborate with Product to flag scope risks early and support migrations.
