Job summary

Australian Securities Exchange in Sydney is seeking a senior .NET engineer to design, develop and support Austraclear as part of the S&P Tech Engineering team. You will deliver code, run tests and provide third-line support across complex incidents.

The role requires 10+ years in enterprise .NET, strong SQL/PLSQL, and experience with ForgeRock IAM, Kafka, and cloud ecosystems. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in full stack .NET in an enterprise setting.
• 4+ years SQL/PLSQL in Oracle or similar RDMS.
• Experience integrating .Net with ForgeRock IAM and Kafka.
• Strong software analysis and problem solving skills.
• Experience with third party .Net controls and Active Reports.
• Hands-on with GitLab, Jenkins/Nexus and SonarQube CI/CD.
• Knowledge of SWIFT ISO15022/ISO20022 and cloud concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Austraclear software within S&P Tech Engineering.
• Deliver software design, development, testing, and release artefacts.
• Provide 3rd line support and incident root cause analysis.
• Improve code health through reviews and documentation.
• Drive modernization and cross-team collaboration.
