Job summary

DWS Group in Melbourne CBD is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join a large-scale digital transformation program delivering a cloud-based platform that supports critical community services. You will work in Agile delivery teams building enterprise-grade applications using Microsoft technologies, Azure services, and modern engineering practices.

The role offers a hybrid working model with 3 days on site, a start ASAP, and a salary up to $185K package including super.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing complex solutions using C#, .NET, .NET Core and ASP.NET.
• Strong experience creating automated tests using xUnit, NUnit, MSTest, VS Unit Test Framework or similar.
• Strong SQL Server development experience, including Azure SQL Database, performance analysis, tuning and troubleshooting.
• Strong front-end development experience using Angular 14+, HTML5, CSS3 and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Azure PaaS and SaaS services, including Azure Functions, Service Bus, Blob Storage, Key Vault and Web APIs.
• Experience providing senior technical leadership and contributing to integration initiatives.
• Experience developing REST APIs, Azure Functions and Microservices.
• Experience designing and implementing DevOps frameworks and automated build and release pipelines.
• Experience using Azure DevOps and Visual Studio.
• Experience developing .NET solutions using SOLID design principles.
• Experience working within Scrum Agile delivery teams.
• Previous experience within government environments will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Contribute within Agile delivery teams to develop and enhance enterprise-grade applications on a cloud-based platform.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and knowledge transfer for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product owners and SMEs to drive delivery and integration initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership in REST APIs, microservices, and DevOps pipelines.
