Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure NSW is seeking a Senior Natural Resource Management Officer to provide practical advice on Crown land, environmental and land management matters, supporting government priorities and risk management. You will work with diverse stakeholders to deliver outcomes across NSW Crown land and help protect public land for communities now and into the future.

Responsabilités

• Assessing and progressing land management, environmental and planning matters in line with legislation and policy requirements.
• Supporting negotiations and helping resolve Crown land issues in a practical and professional manner.
• Coordinating hazard reduction and risk mitigation activities to promote safe public use of Crown land.
• Maintaining accurate land and property records and information systems.
• Managing competing priorities and contributing to projects and administrative activities to deliver outcomes on time.
• Undertaking site inspections and assessments across a variety of locations.

• Salary ranges from $102,936 - $113,579 plus super

About the role

As a Senior Natural Resource Management Officer, you'll provide practical advice and support on Crown land, environmental, planning and land management matters. You'll work with a range of stakeholders to help deliver government priorities, manage risks, and ensure Crown land is used and cared for responsibly.

• Enjoys problem-solving and making sound decisions in a complex environment.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Tertiary qualifications in an environmental science, natural resources, planning or other relevant field and/or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
• Willing and able to travel
