Job summary

Deakin University’s Integration Development team seeks a Senior Integration Developer to lead end-to-end MuleSoft integration projects across enterprise applications and cloud platforms. You will design secure APIs, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reliable delivery and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualifications or extensive relevant experience and management expertise; or equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training
• Significant experience designing, developing and supporting complex integration solutions in a large enterprise and cloud technology environment
• Strong hands‑on experience developing and supporting solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
• Strong experience designing REST and SOAP APIs and integration solutions using appropriate patterns, including event‑driven architectures and messaging
• Strong experience across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and with contemporary DevOps practices, including source control, continuous integration, automated testing and code‑quality controls
• Demonstrated technical leadership and stakeholder‑engagement experience, including working with or guiding technical teams in an Agile delivery environment

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex MuleSoft integration solutions, from design and development through testing, deployment and support
• Design secure, reliable and scalable APIs and integrations using contemporary integration patterns and technologies
• Provide technical leadership through design and code reviews, technical guidance and collaboration with stakeholders across the University
• Drive improvements in DevOps, automated testing, code quality, reuse and operational reliability
