Job summary

XPT Software Australia is seeking an experienced Java + MuleSoft Integration Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable microservices and enterprise integrations. The role requires strong Java, Spring Boot, MuleSoft, API development, and cloud deployment experience.

You will implement REST APIs, build MuleSoft integrations, and ensure robust API security and lifecycle management within an Agile delivery framework. Collaboration across cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot in a microservices environment.
• Hands-on MuleSoft Mule 4, DataWeave 2.0, Anypoint Platform, and CloudHub 2.0.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and implementing API security and lifecycle management.
• Proficient in unit testing with JUnit, MUnit, Mockito; API testing with REST Assured.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes; production support and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Design and develop REST APIs and microservices.
• Build MuleSoft integrations using Mule 4, DataWeave 2.0, and Anypoint Platform.
• Implement API security, API lifecycle management, and integration patterns.
• Develop automated unit and API tests using JUnit, Mockito, and REST Assured.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and Kubernetes deployments.
• Monitor applications, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC and Agile delivery process.
