Job summary

Searchability® is seeking a Level 3 Support Engineer to join our Canberra team. You will act as the senior escalation point, manage security-focused environments to Essential Eight and ISO standards, and administer Microsoft 365 and Intune across SMB clients.

You will lead security improvements, mentor L2 engineers, and collaborate with clients at a senior level on technical strategy and compliance outcomes. This role offers on-site with hybrid arrangements and requires Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Solid L3 experience within an MSP environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune and cloud infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of Essential Eight and ISO compliance frameworks.
• Advanced experience with Datto, Autotask and Kaseya (or equivalent RMM/PSA platforms).
• Experience conducting security assessments and remediation plans.
• Strong networking knowledge – firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, routing.
• Excellent communication with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues across the client base.
• Owning and managing security-focused client environments to Essential Eight and ISO compliance standards.
• Administering Microsoft 365, Intune and cloud environments across SMB clients.
• Managing and optimising the toolstack – Datto, Autotask, Kaseya – at an advanced level.
• Conducting security assessments, identifying gaps and implementing remediation plans.
• Mentoring L2 engineers and supporting their technical development.
• Leading projects including migrations, infrastructure upgrades and security improvements.
• Maintaining documentation and ensuring client environments are audit-ready.
• Liaising with clients at a senior level on technical strategy and compliance outcomes.
