Peabody Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Health & Hygiene Advisor at the Centurion underground mine in Queensland, Australia. The successful applicant will lead occupational health and hygiene programs, conduct exposure assessments, and ensure compliance with health legislation.

This role offers a 9-day fortnight roster and supports a residential, DIDO, or FIFO lifestyle. Benefits include relocation assistance and an Employee Assistance Program. Candidates should possess relevant qualifications and experience in health and hygiene roles.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of QLD CMSH legislation and hygiene standards.
• Demonstrated competence in exposure monitoring equipment and data interpretation.
• Ability to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement effective controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead occupational hygiene programs including dust, noise, vibration, and airborne contaminant monitoring.
• Conduct exposure assessments and ensure results are effectively communicated.
• Develop and maintain the site Health & Hygiene Management Plan.
