Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior finance professional in Australia to lead mining advisory engagements, delivering financial, commercial, and technical assessments across studies, lender engagements, due diligence, and investment evaluations.

You will build trusted client relationships, chair multidisciplinary teams, and communicate complex insights to executives, mentoring consultants while supporting business growth through proposals and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
• CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional accreditation.
• Extensive experience in senior finance, commercial, management accounting, or advisory roles within mining sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to advisory projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Communicate complex information across technical, operational, and executive audiences.
• Prepare, review, and present reports and recommendations supporting financing, investment approval, and project development decisions.
