Job summary

Agilitus in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to lead mine design, production planning, and hydraulic mining initiatives across diverse projects. You will model feasibility, optimise operations, and deliver design deliverables with a focus on safety and sustainability.

You will work with Deswik CAD/Shed or MineSched, engage stakeholders, and contribute to reports and client presentations within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering required.
• Experience in mining consultancy or operating mines is preferred.
• Proficient with mining software such as Deswik CAD/Shed or MineSched.

Responsibilities

• Develop mine designs and production plans including pit design, staging and scheduling.
• Prepare and maintain mining models using Deswik and/or MineSched.
• Undertake hydraulic mining design activities: production modelling, layout design, pipelines and infrastructure.
• Analyse operational performance and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, safe, and sustainable solutions.
