Mineral Resources (MinRes) is seeking an experienced Senior Mine Surveyor for its Bald Hill operation, with an 8D6X roster and Perth-based fly-ins. You will lead accurate survey data delivery and support operations planning, interfacing closely with teams to ensure precise end-of-month reporting and volume reconciliation.

Key duties include open pit surveying, end-of-month volumes, survey mark ups, and timely reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive mining survey experience, ideally in open pit operations.
• High attention to detail with data accuracy.
• Experience with end of month reporting and volume reconciliation.
• Authorized mine surveyor’s certificate.
• Proficiency with Vulcan; Surpac experience preferred.
• GPS knowledge; Trimble RTK advantageous.
• RePL Licence and drone experience essential.

Aufgaben

• Conduct comprehensive open pit mine surveying activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards
• Manage end of month surveyed volumes – data entry, reconciliation and reporting
• Complete survey mark ups to support mining, drill and blast operations
• Provide timely reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly survey updates
• Utilise Vulcan and other relevant software to prepare plans and models
• Collaborate with operational teams to deliver accurate surfaces, designs, and spatial data for production and planning purposes
• Maintain up to date survey records with a strong QA/QC focus
• Working towards a safety-first work environment and approach
