The Donald Project is seeking a Mine Surveyor to deliver accurate survey data and practical field support for a major Victorian rare earth and mineral sands project. The role combines fieldwork with data processing, machine control, and design conformance across pit, plant, tailings and rehabilitation areas.

You will coordinate survey planning, data management, and reporting to ensure compliance with mine plans, regulatory tolerances and project timelines at the Donald site near Minyip, Victoria.

Competenze

• 3–5+ years’ experience in mine surveying or similar field-based role.
• Proficient with GNSS RTK, total stations, laser scanning and UAV photogrammetry.
• Experience in survey data processing, surface modelling and volume calculations.
• Ability to coordinate multiple fronts in open-cut/mining environments.
• Understanding of mine planning, dig sequencing and grade control.

Mansioni

• Develop daily/weekly survey plans aligned with mine planning and tailings requirements.
• Conduct field surveys using GNSS RTK, total stations, laser scanners and UAVs.
• Set out designs including pit limits, berms, lines and infrastructure.
• Maintain and verify survey control networks and calibration baselines.
• Create and monitor 3D machine control files and support operators.
