Job summary

Mineral Resources Limited (MinRes) is seeking an experienced Senior Mine Planning Engineer to provide dedicated planning support across our Lithium Operations within the medium-term planning horizon. You will bridge tactical planning and operations by developing integrated mine plans that are practical, achievable and aligned across mining, processing, geology, maintenance and logistics.

Working closely with site-based and corporate stakeholders, you will identify constraints, manage priorities

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in open-pit mine planning in an operational environment.
• Experience developing short-term or integrated mine plans and schedules.
• Operational mining experience; lithium/gold/base metals desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated mine plans and schedules across the three-month to LOM horizon.
• Coordinate inputs across Mining, Processing, Geology, Maintenance, Supply, Projects and other stakeholders.
• Track and drive yearly budget, reforecast and 5-year plan activities.
• Identify constraints, risks and opportunities and develop mitigation actions.
• Monitor plan performance, investigate variances and assist replanning to meet targets.
• Communicate planning outcomes and changes to site execution teams.
• Contribute to standardisation and automation of planning processes and reporting.
