Job summary

Mineral Resources Limited (MinRes) is seeking an experienced Strategic Senior Mine Planning Engineer to lead pit optimisations and Life of Mine planning for Lithium operations, developing strategic mine designs and sustaining project studies.

You will work across resource, operations, processing, approvals and projects to influence decisions, extend mine life and ensure robust, value-driven plans. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
Proven experience in strategic mine planning and Life of Mine planning.
Experience with bulk commodity operations or mining supply chains.

Responsibilities

Lead pit optimisation, Life of Mine planning and strategic designs for Lithium operations.
Deliver technical studies to support project approvals and mine life extension.
Mentor engineers and provide senior technical guidance to stakeholders.
Collaborate with operations, processing and project teams to align plans with business goals.
Identify strategic risks and opportunities and integrate closure requirements.
