Job summary

RiverMeadow is seeking a Senior Migration Delivery Owner for Australia to set delivery standards and lead engineers on the ground. This role reports to the PMO and collaborates across discovery, planning, execution and cutover to ensure successful migrations.

You will own hands-on execution, mentor engineers, and partner with the Senior Project Manager on scope, timelines and risk. Remote regions include Australia, Europe, Japan and Latin America.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in infrastructure, cloud or migration delivery.
• Hands-on experience migrating workloads across AWS, Azure, GCP and/or private cloud.
• Experience leading a delivery team and coordinating with stakeholders.

Be the senior technical owner of migration execution in your region — setting the delivery standard and leading engineers on the ground.

Remote — Australia, Europe, Japan or Latin America
Spanish fluency required for Latin America.

You are the senior technical owner for migration execution in your region. You set the delivery standard, lead engineers on the ground, and act as the technical counterpart to the PMO throughout discovery, planning, execution and cutover.

What you’ll do

• Own the technical delivery quality of managed migration engagements across your region.
• Lead and mentor Migration Delivery Engineers; review approach, execution and cutover readiness.
• Translate customer and partner requirements into executable migration plans and runbooks.
• Run discovery and assessment, size migration waves, and validate source and target readiness.
• Own hands-on execution of complex or high-risk migrations and cutovers.
• Partner with the assigned Senior Project Manager on scope, timeline and risk.
• Serve as the senior technical escalation point during active migration events.
• Drive repeatable delivery patterns and feed improvements back into RiverMeadow tooling and playbooks.

What you bring

• 7+ years in infrastructure, cloud or migration delivery, including in a senior or lead capacity.
• Deep hands‑on experience migrating workloads to and between AWS, Azure, GCP and/or private cloud.
• Strong Linux and Windows Server fundamentals, plus virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V), networking (VPNs, routing, firewalls, hybrid connectivity), storage and OS internals.
• Experience with migration tooling and cutover orchestration at enterprise scale.
• Ability to lead a small delivery team and own outcomes end to end.
• Clear communicator with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating independently across regional time zones.

Additional experience

• Direct experience with the RiverMeadow platform.
• Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python or Bash).
• Experience in partner-led or funded migration programs.
• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
