Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Middleware Consultant to design and implement complex middleware platforms for large Australian enterprise clients. You will guide projects from requirements through implementation and ongoing support, mentoring team members along the way.

The role combines hands-on engineering with strategic planning, across WebLogic, Oracle middleware, and DevOps toolchains. Collaboration with customers and internal teams is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a relevant technical consulting role.
• DevOps automation and middleware platform design experience across large enterprise environments.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle SOA stack.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical design and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and document complex middleware platforms to meet evolving IT requirements.
• Design, build and implement middleware platforms to specifications.
• Contribute to high level and detailed design discussions.
• Deliver services on time and to budget; support project governance.
• Engage with customers, provide advisory and leadership throughout projects.
• Assist with sales proposals and customer communications.
