Job summary
Leidos Australia is seeking a Senior Middleware Engineer to implement, manage and optimise enterprise middleware platforms that enable reliable integration across applications, databases and external systems. You will provide senior technical leadership on APIs, messaging, security and high availability while partnering with diverse teams to deliver resilient services.
The role requires strong automation capabilities, experience with cloud or hybrid environments, and a track record of mentoring
Qualifications
- Significant experience in middleware engineering and integration.
- Strong knowledge of API gateways, messaging, and service interfaces.
- Experience with Linux/Unix, security controls, performance monitoring and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, maintain and optimise middleware platforms and related services.
- Design secure application integration using APIs, web services and messaging patterns.
- Lead troubleshooting, performance tuning, upgrades, migrations and platform modernisation.
- Develop automation, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices to improve reliability.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver integration outcomes.
