OceanaGold in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Microsoft Security Specialist to join its Information Security team. You will own Microsoft Entra ID, Defender XDR, Sentinel and Purview deployments, driving identity protection, threat detection and governance across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, cybersecurity or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in enterprise information or cybersecurity roles.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Entra ID, Defender XDR and Purview.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior technical expertise across Microsoft Entra ID and related components.
• Lead Entra ID maturity, risk-based access controls and Zero Trust architecture.
• Drive improvements across Defender XDR and Sentinel, with playbooks and alert tuning.
• Support complex identity and security incidents, including threat hunting and remediation.
• Manage relationships with the managed security services provider for detection and response.
• Strengthen privileged access management and certificate lifecycle processes.
• Lead Purview deployment for Data Loss Prevention and Information Protection.
