Job summary

Amazon Building Design Team in Australia seeks an MEP Design Engineer/Manager focused on electrical design for large-scale warehouse and logistics facilities. You will lead full-lifecycle design, coordinate multi-discipline teams, and develop compliant documentation from concept through construction.

Applicants should have deep warehouse electrical expertise, strong knowledge of NCC/BCA, and hands-on experience with ETAP/PowerFactory and BIM tools.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in warehouse electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of Australian standards (AS/NZS) and NCC/BCA.
• Experience delivering documentation from concept to construction.

Responsibilities

• Design high-voltage substations (11 kV/33 kV) and transformer installations with redundancy.
• Size main switchboards, MCCs, and perform cable sizing per Australian standards.
• Perform load flow and harmonic analysis using ETAP/PowerFactory.
• Develop industrial lighting designs for warehouse environments.
• Lead 3D MEP coordination using Revit MEP, Navisworks, and BIM 360/ACC.
• Prepare detailed electrical equipment specifications.
• Author and maintain electrical design standards and guidelines for warehouse projects.
