Zusammenfassung

Australian Broadcasting Corporation is seeking an experienced psychologist to join the People & Culture team on a six‑month contract, supporting the psychological wellbeing of ABC employees across diverse, challenging environments.

Reporting to the Head of Inclusion & Wellbeing, you will lead and deliver workplace wellbeing initiatives, including the Peer Support Program, psychological wellbeing check‑ins and specialised training for staff exposed to difficult work.

Qualifikationen

• Registered psychologist with current accreditation.
• Experience delivering workplace mental health programs.
• Ability to facilitate group sessions and trainings.
• Experience providing early intervention and referrals.
• Experience across high-pressure environments desirable.

Aufgaben

• Provide targeted wellbeing check-ins and triage for distressed staff.
• Lead delivery of the ABC Peer Support Program and related trainings.
• Develop wellbeing workshops and group debriefs for teams in demanding environments.
• Build capability of managers and staff to recognise and respond to mental health concerns.
• Offer specialist psychological advice on trauma exposure and crisis pathways.
