AbbVie ANZ is seeking a Senior Manager, Medical & Operational Excellence in Sydney to lead the Medical & Operational Excellence function.

You will translate priorities from affiliate, area and global Medical Excellence into a practical, measurable roadmap, while coaching a team and partnering with senior Medical, Technology, and Customer Excellence leaders to improve planning, execution and measurement across Medical Affairs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences or related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Affairs, business, leadership, digital health or related field desirable.
• Significant experience (>3 years) in Medical Affairs, Medical Operations or related function with leadership of cross-functional initiatives.
• Advanced stakeholder management, facilitation, communication and influencing skills in a matrix organisation.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Medical & Operational Excellence function and translate priorities into a clear, practical roadmap.
• Provide line management, coaching and performance support to the Medical Excellence Manager and related roles.
• Prioritise work across Field Medical Excellence, digital enablement and governance.
• Advise senior leadership on opportunities, risks and capability gaps in Medical Excellence.
• Shape operating models, governance, and service standards for Medical Excellence.
• Monitor capacity, risks, delivery status and benefits across the portfolio.
