Job summary

AbbVie Australia and New Zealand seeks a Senior Manager, Medical & Operational Excellence to lead the Medical Excellence function. You will partner with senior Medical, Technology, Customer Excellence and cross-functional leaders to enhance planning, execution, measurement and capability building across ANZ Medical Affairs.

This role focuses on building a connected, insight-led and future-ready Medical organisation, with governance, performance oversight and opportunities for strategic impact.

Qualifications

Proven leadership in Medical Affairs or comparable function.
Experience with digital health, omnichannel and Medical systems.
Strong analytical skills with measurement of outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead Medical & Operational Excellence function and translate priorities into a practical roadmap.
Provide line management, coaching and performance support to direct reports.
Prioritise work across field and head office Medical Excellence, digital enablement and governance.
Advise leadership on opportunities, risks and capability gaps.
Shape operating model, governance, service standards and escalation pathways.
Monitor capacity, risks and delivery status across the portfolio.
